Camlab MCE membrane filters are hydrophilic, available with 0.22µm-8.0µm pore size
The Camlab range of mixed cellulose ester (MCE) membrane filters are manufactured from cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate fibres.
Available with pore sizes between 0.22µm - 8.0µm.
MCE membranes are characterized by a smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose membrane filters. This facilitates particle detection, and also a high retention level.
Camlab mixed cellulose ester membranes are hydrophilic, mechanically stable and have a high loading capacity. Plain membranes are ideal for pre-filtration and the clarification of samples, and gridded MCE membranes can be used for microbiological analysis and for colony counting.
