Delivery Information & Charges
We offer rapid UK delivery services and fast cost-effective European and Worldwide services. We provide various delivery options based on your requirements & location as well as the hazard class of the goods you are ordering. Information & pricing regarding the delivery services available can be found below.
Standard UK Delivery
Once your package leaves our warehouse, we will send you tracking details to allow tracking of your delivery. For the most up-to-date status of your parcel, please check the courier tracking website using the tracking details provided.
Subject to stock availability, which is stated on the product page, items ordered online, before our cut-off time of 14:00, are usually dispatched for delivery by courier the next working day.*
Same day dispatch, as well as next working day delivery are not guaranteed - although once in transit, service is generally very consistent throughout mainland UK. Hazardous items are delivered at the same price and there is no extra charge for packing or paperwork, although some restricted chemicals are limited to registered purchasers only.
*During 2022, on average, 97.49% of UPS shipments were delivered the next working day after dispatch. Please note, Deliveries to the Highlands, Islands and other extended area postcodes may take up to 72 hours. Deliveries to Northern Ireland may take upto 5 working days. Please see the list of affected extended area postcodes below.
All prices shown below are exclusive of VAT. When ordering online, VAT will be added during checkout.
Delivery of orders upto 50kg are FREE to our customers in the Cambridgeshire area. Specifically all CB postcodes and postcodes in the PE15, PE16, PE19, PE26, PE27, PE28 and PE29 areas qualify for this service.
Get our best value delivery rates when you order online. Our mainland UK rates are as low as £9.49 for orders up to 5kg.
Non mainland, Northern Ireland and Highlands rates start from £36.99 upto 25kg.
You can calculate the shipping cost of your desired items by adding them to the basket and using the 'Estimate Shipping & Tax Feature'.
Some of our larger products will be delivered by specialist pallet carriers. Subject to stock availability, goods are usually delivered within 3 working days from date of dispatch.
Although we do not have a trade counter, you can collect your order from our UK distribution centre in Cambridge for a small charge. After placing your order, we will contact you once your order is ready. NOTE: Chemicals may not be collected unless collecting with I.D. and a valid Home Office licence.
The following postcodes are classed as 'Extended Areas' by UPS. Delivery to these locations will take a longer than delivery to other locations within the UK.

EU Delivery
Important VAT, Customs and Handling Charge information.
Following the UK's exit from the EU, all EU orders will now be processed without Tax/VAT when ordering from Camlab.
Please note, VAT will now be charged at the point of import (charged at the local rate) and will be collected upon delivery and paid for by the end user.
These charges may include VAT, Customs Charges and Courier Handling Fees. As the fees are determined by the receiving country and the courier in that country, we are unable to advise what they will be on each individual order.
Please note: we do not ship goods on a DDP basis. All courier orders are processed on a DAP basis only and for customers within the EU an EORI number will be required before shipping.
Delivery times
Subject to stock availability (which is stated on the product page), during normal operations items are usually delivered to most European destinations in 5 working days.
To ensure smooth delivery of orders, Camlab will complete and include all relevant customs paperwork, such as commercial invoices, with each delivery.
Charges Explained
The rates stated are applicable to most European countries. Please note that Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey are not included in the European freight band.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.
Subject to stock availability (which is stated on the product page), hazardous items are usually delivered to most European destinations in 7-10 working days following completion of hazardous packing and production of necessary paperwork - as required by IATA, ADR or IMDG. For this reason Hazardous items have a different delivery price.
NOTE: If any of the items you are purchasing are hazardous, your goods will require special packing and documentation. We will contact you to advise the extra charges applicable. In this case it may be preferable to increase the size of your order to reduce the price per kilo overall.
International Shipping Rates
International shipping rates vary by country and will be displayed during the checkout process. Please note that some orders may require additional paperwork for which charges will apply. Subject to stock availability (which is stated on the product page), for international parcel delivery, items are usually delivered 7-10 days from receipt of payment (from receipt of Purchase Order for International Dealers).

Camlab offers a comprehensive, flexible and palletised service for sea or air freight to meet all forwarding options depending on country and shipping service requested. We aim to ensure timely delivery of your goods while keeping you informed at all stages and providing Proof of Delivery when goods have been delivered.

Subject to stock availability (which is stated on the product page), hazardous items are usually delivered to most International destinations in 12-14 working days following completion of hazardous packing and production of necessary paperwork. This delivery time frame is also subject to UK customs checks ensuring that packing and paperwork are compliant with goods being exported and the destination country.
For this reason Hazardous items have a different delivery price and additonal charges will apply to your web order.
We can also provide a full export consolidation and logistics service including all specified export documentation. This can save you valuable time and money by combining multiple orders into one shipment and one set of documentation to ensure the safe and simple delivery of all of your laboratory products from one dedicated supplier to any destination in the world.
